The Government of Telangana State, School Education Department has officially announced the Telangana Teacher Eligibility Test (TG TET-2024) for recruiting teachers for Classes I to VIII in schools across Telangana. Application Fee

• For Single Paper (Paper I or Paper II): ₹750/-
• For Both Papers I and II: ₹1000/-
• Payment Mode: Online through debit cards, credit cards, or internet banking.

Eligibility Criteria

For TG TET Paper-I (Classes I to V)

Candidates must possess:

• Intermediate/Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/BC/Differently abled).
• 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education/4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)/2-year Diploma in Special Education.

For TG TET Paper-II (Classes VI to VIII)

Candidates must possess:

• B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/BC/Differently abled).
• Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or Bachelor of Education in Special Education (B.Ed.-Special Education).
• For language teachers: Graduation with language as one of the subjects or a Bachelor of Oriental Language.

Exam Details

• Exam Mode: Offline (Pen and Paper).
• Exam Timings:
• Morning Session: 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM
• Afternoon Session: 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM
